Product AI Visibility Gap Checklist
A checklist for finding where your products, services or practice areas disappear from AI-led buyer journeys.
Brand visibility can look healthy while priority products remain invisible. This checklist helps marketers review whether each product, service line or practice area has enough evidence to appear in AI-generated buyer research.
Product visibility checks
- Does the product or service have a dedicated page?
- Does the page clearly explain the buyer problem it solves?
- Does it name the industries, sectors or use cases it serves?
- Does it explain who the product is for?
- Does it include proof points, outcomes or case studies?
- Does it compare clearly with common alternatives?
- Does it answer evaluation-stage questions?
- Does it address risks, objections or exclusions?
- Is the content machine-readable and not locked in PDFs?
- Is the product mentioned by third-party sources?
- Are there reviews, listings or directory references?
- Are competitors better represented in AI answers?
Buyer journey gap map

|---|---|---|
| Awareness | Buyer never discovers you | Problem-led educational content and third-party category mentions |
| Consideration | You are not shortlisted | Clear product pages, use cases and comparison content |
| Evaluation | Competitors look stronger | Proof points, case studies, reviews and differentiators |
| Decision | AI does not recommend you | Credible evidence, reduced friction and strong third-party validation |
